 | | Rankin Rifle Scabbards & Rifle SlingsWelcome, Visitor! When placing an order for a custom scabbard for your rifle or carbine, please provide the dimensions indicated on the illustration shown on the measurements page. (Click on 'measurements' to be taken there.) My rifle scabbards are designed for use on horseback. I patterned them after the old style that was so widely in use during the late 1800's and early 1900's. These styles of scabbards were produced in Texas, Wyoming, and Montana and were widely copied by saddle makers across the western states. There are many of my scabbards being used in the hills, mountains and plains of Montana and Wyoming by hunters, guides, working cowboys and outdoorsmen. I can build a rifle scabbard to any rifle specifications. All of my rifle scabbards are built with Hermann Oak™ 9-10 ounce saddle skirting leather. Please be aware that with a natural oiled finish, the color may vary from side of leather to side of leather. The color may not be an exact match as the one pictured here. The only way I can guarantee an exact color is to dye the leather. The prices illustrated here reflect the price of the item as shown. Costs can vary according to what each individual orders for barrel length, silver conchos, specialty carving, etc. Shipping is additional. When ordering, please take a look at the page for measurements required when making a custom scabbard.
